Oh yes, I am wise "But it's wisdom born of pain Yes, I've paid the price But look how much I gained If I have to I can do anything I am strong (strong) I am invincible (invincible) I am woman" Helen Reddy and Ray Burton
Growing up in the 1960's young women were just beginning to have the right to do anything, be anything. I have loved this song since it first came out and sing it when I am feeling down. Everyone in my family recognizes that this is my song. I especially love it sing it as I am driving alone down the road, singing along, preferably at full blast.
I can't think of a song that is more powerful then "I am Woman." It's one of those songs that, like you said Marilyn, you can just belt it at the top of your lungs. What a powerful, heartfelt song!
